Comox Valley Wildlife

The Comox Valley is a bird watchers paradise. There many year round birds like Eagles and Herrons but we also have the Trumpeter Swans in the late fall and a host of other migratory birds.

Along with birds there are dear that roam through town of Comox and parts of Courtenay. These little dear walk all over the streets and play at the filberg lodge

In the fall you can watch the salmon swimming up the rivers of the Valley. It is quite a site to see the salmon ferosiously battling the current. The puntledge fish hatchery is where you can watch salmon jumping up the lift created for them so they can continue on their journey.
